Rajasthan Pharmacy Council (RPC) is the statutory regulatory body established under the Pharmacy Act, 1948 to regulate the profession and practice of pharmacy in the state of Rajasthan, India.

Main Functions of Rajasthan Pharmacy Council
As per the Pharmacy Act, 1948 (Sections 26–33), RPC performs the following statutory duties:
- Registration of Pharmacists
- Maintains the State Register of Pharmacists (Part A & Part B)
- Issues fresh registration certificates to new pharmacists
- Renews registration every 5 years (mandatory since 2019 amendment rules)
- Processes transfer of registration from other state councils
- Inspection & Approval of Pharmacy Colleges
- Inspects D.Pharm & B.Pharm institutions for infrastructure, faculty, labs, hospital tie-ups
- Recommends approval / disapproval to Pharmacy Council of India (PCI)
- Monitors annual inspections and compliance
- Disciplinary Actions
- Inquires into professional misconduct complaints
- Can remove names from register (temporary/permanent) after due process
- Conduct of Examinations (historical role)
- Earlier conducted D.Pharm exit exams; now fully delegated to PCI-approved boards/universities
- Continuing Pharmacy Education (CPE)
- Mandates 25 CPE credit points every 5 years for renewal (since 2020)
- Organizes/approves CPE programs in collaboration with IPA Rajasthan Branch and other bodies
Registration Process (2026 Guidelines)
A. Fresh Registration (D.Pharm / B.Pharm / Pharm.D pass-outs)
- Eligibility: Passed D.Pharm / B.Pharm / Pharm.D from PCI-approved institution
- Documents required:
- Degree / Diploma marksheets & passing certificate
- PCI registration certificate (if already registered elsewhere)
- Character certificate
- ID proof (Aadhaar / Voter ID)
- Passport-size photos

B. Renewal of Registration (mandatory every 5 years)
- Fee: ₹1,000–1,500 (online payment)
- Must submit 25 CPE credit points proof

C. Transfer from Other State Pharmacy Council
