Eligibility Criteria (Expected – Likely Unchanged)

  • Educational Qualification:
    • Passed 10+2 / Senior Secondary with Physics, Chemistry, English and either Biology or Mathematics (some courses accept both streams)
    • Minimum aggregate marks: 50% (General/OBC), 45% (SC/ST)
  • Age Limit (as on 31 December 2026):
    • Minimum 17 years
    • No upper age limit (most courses)
  • Nationality: Indian citizen (some seats open to foreign nationals via separate route)

Exam Pattern (Expected – Same as Recent Years)

  • Mode: Computer-Based Test (CBT)
  • Duration: 90 minutes
  • Total Questions: 90 MCQs
  • Total Marks: 90 (no negative marking in recent patterns)
  • Subjects & Weightage:
    • Physics – 30 questions
    • Chemistry – 30 questions
    • Biology / Mathematics – 30 questions
  • Medium: English only

Application Fee (Expected)

  • General / OBC: ₹1,500–2,000
  • SC / ST / EWS: ₹1,200–1,500
  • PwBD: Exempted or nominal

Selection Process

  1. Computer-Based Entrance Test (CBT) – merit-based
  2. Merit List / Rank List – published category-wise
  3. Counselling – Online choice filling & seat allotment (usually 2–3 rounds + spot round)
  4. Reporting to allotted AIIMS institute

Reservation follows central government norms (SC 15%, ST 7.5%, OBC 27%, EWS 10%, PwBD 5%, etc.).

Important Advice Right Now (March 2026)

  • No registration is open yet — do not pay any money or fill any form on unofficial sites.
  • Focus on Class 12 board exams (CBSE/State Board) — your 12th PCM/PCB marks are very important (minimum eligibility + normalization factor).
  • Prepare for entrance — syllabus is Class 11–12 level Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Mathematics (NCERT-based).
