  1. On-Admission Scholarships:
    • Scholarships begin in the 1st year of the program.
    • For the 2nd year onwards, continuation scholarship rules apply.

  2. Important Notes:
    • The aggregate percentage for eligibility will be calculated based on marks scored in English and three academic subjects (compulsorily including subjects of eligibility), excluding Physical Education, Fine Arts, Performing Arts, or any Vocational/Non-Written subjects. These subjects will be considered only for their respective select programs.
    • Students are required to pay the full fees for Semester 1, and any excess amount due to the scholarship will be adjusted against the payment for Semester II.
    • The grant of scholarships is subject to the approval of the Scholarship Committee.
    • A limited number of scholarships are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
    • Candidates securing the required percentages must fill out the IILM University Application Form.
    • In the absence of relevant mark sheets, scholarship applications will not be considered.
    • Scholarships will be granted only on the tuition fee.
    • No two scholarships can be combined.

To be eligible for the Sports Scholarship, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  1. Minimum Academic Eligibility: Applicants must fulfil the academic requirements outlined in the Admission Brochure for their respective program. Ensure you review the specific criteria for your chosen course to confirm eligibility.
  2. Age Limit: Candidates must be 23 years old or younger as of July 31, 2025. This ensures that the scholarship supports young athletes in their educational journey.
  3. Participation Requirement: Candidates must demonstrate regular participation in their chosen sport for a minimum of three years. This includes involvement in international, local, state, or national level competitions. Documentation, such as certificates or letters from coaches, may be required to verify participation and level of achievement.

Continuation of Sports Scholarship

The Sports Scholarship is granted on an annual basis for the first year of the program. For continuation into the second and subsequent years, recipients must adhere to the following conditions:

  1. Academic Performance: Scholars must maintain a minimum CGPA of 7 (or equivalent academic performance) and attendance of minimum 50% as specified in the scholarship policy. This ensures that student-athletes are balancing both their academic and athletic commitments effectively.
  2. Sport Participation: Continued eligibility requires ongoing active participation in the respective sport. Scholars must engage in competitions and training, demonstrating commitment to their sport.
  3. Review Process: Scholarship renewal will be subject to a review process at the end of each academic year. Recipients may be required to submit documentation of their academic performance and sports involvement.
  4. Adherence to Policies: Scholars must comply with all institutional policies and regulations, including any specific requirements set forth in the scholarship policy.

By meeting these criteria, scholars can secure their scholarship for the duration of their program, supporting their academic and athletic ambitions.

100% tuition fee waiver for Wards of Martyrs  of the program.

Criteria for Admission

The Martyr’s Scholarship is designed to honor the sacrifices of those who have served the nation. To be eligible for this scholarship, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  1. Academic Eligibility:
    • Candidates must fulfill the minimum academic eligibility requirements for the respective program as outlined in the Admission Brochure.
    • Candidates must also successfully pass through the selection process established by the institution.
  2. Scholarship Amount:
    • Selected students will receive a 100% scholarship on tuition fee, subject to the decision of the Scholarship Committee.
  3. Fee Adjustment:
    • The scholarship will be awarded after the candidate joins the program. Any excess fee paid by the student will be adjusted against the academic fees of the following year.
  4. Documentation Requirement:
    • The qualifying act that led to the martyrdom must be in the line of duty. Applicants are required to submit documentary evidence to substantiate their application and justify the scholarship.
  5. Eligibility for Wards of Martyrs:
    • The scholarship provides a 100% tuition fee waiver for the first year  of the program for the wards of martyrs from the following organizations:
  • Army
  • Navy
  • Air Force
  • Assam Rifles
  • Special Frontier Force
  • Indian Coast Guard
  • CRPF (Central Reserve Police Force)
  • BSF (Border Security Force)

To promote gender equality and encourage female education, a fee waiver of 10% is available for female students enrolled in any program. Key details include:

      2. Income Certificate issued by competent authorities (e.g., Tehsildar, Revenue Officer)
    • For continuation of 10% fee waiver from second year onwards, students must:
      1. – Maintain a minimum 75% attendance record
      2. – Achieve a minimum of 7.5 CGPA
      3. – Clear all previous-year subjects
      4. – Adhere to the institution’s code of conduct
      5. – Meet program-specific requirements (if applicable)

To support students from diverse backgrounds, the following fee waivers are offered:

  1. 10% Fee Waiver for Applicants from Kashmir & North East India: (First year tuition fee)
    • This waiver is available to candidates who are residents of Jammu and Kashmir or any of the North Eastern states of India.
  2. 10% Fee Waiver for Children of Defence Personnel🙁 First year tuition fee )
    • Children of active or retired defence personnel are eligible for a 10% fee waiver to acknowledge their contributions and sacrifices.
  3. 10% Fee Waiver for Applicants from Nepal: ( First year tuition fee )
    • Applicants from Nepal will receive a 30% fee waiver to encourage international students to pursue their education with us.
  4.  10% Fee Waiver for Siblings: ( First year tuition fee) 
    • The Fee waiver applies to siblings of currently enrolled students at the institution.
